The biggest river in Guanacaste province has a high level of water. Tropical storm Bonnie is going into the ocean, but the mountain drains are showing up on the river.
This may affect with floods the communities further down the stream.
River Tempisque flows into the Pacific Ocean, the Gulf of Nicoya.
